At Gyanastra Foundation, every initiative we take is driven by one belief – every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and dream without limits. From ensuring access to quality education and nutrition to providing safe shelter and mentorship, our projects work hand-in-hand to break cycles of poverty and inequality.
Through our six innovative programs and initiatives, we aim to unlock the full potential of every child, irrespective of their background or circumstances. By nurturing their curiosity, fostering a love for learning, and equipping them with essential skills, we strive to create a brighter, more promising future for generations to come.
Each initiative is a step toward a brighter, educated, and nourished future for every child.
Project “Poshan” focuses on ensuring that children have adequate physical energy to concentrate on learning and gaining knowledge. This initiative provides nutritious food, fruits, and dry fruits to children, aiming to enhance their overall health and well-being. Through the distribution of edibles, this project aims to support children’s nutritional needs, enabling them to focus better on their education and cognitive development because we believe healthy meals develope healthy minds.
Project ‘Shiksha” initiative involves hiring dedicated teachers who not only impart knowledge but also employ unique methods to motivate students. Through engaging group activities, art and craft classes, and other creative approaches, Project Shiksha aims to make learning enjoyable and impactful for children in rural communities. By nurturing their passion for learning and personal growth, this project strives to empower children with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life.
Project Pehchan ensures that every child we educate steps into the classroom with dignity and confidence. By providing school uniforms and shoes, we go beyond just attire, we nurture discipline, equality, and a sense of belonging. This initiative reminds children that education is not just about lessons in books but also about embracing their identity, building self-respect, and taking pride in their journey toward personal growth and success.
In rural communities, where opportunities for girls are often dimmed by age-old barriers, Project Udaan rises as a promise of hope. With hearts full of hope, our team walks into these communities to open doors of learning for girls, to show families that educating a daughter is not just about books but about shaping brighter futures. Project Udaan is more than a program, it’s a movement to give every girl the confidence, support, and wings to soar beyond limitations.
Project “Suraksha” is dedicated to ending child labor by scouting for affected children and providing them with safe housing, such as government hostels. Our goal is to ensure that these children have access to a better life and education, empowering them to build a brighter future. Together, we can create a world where every child is free to pursue their dreams without the burden of exploitation. Under Project Suraksha, 12 children are currently under our full-time care, receiving shelter, education, and love.
Project “Pragati” focuses on developing an app that enables us and our trained teachers to track the progress of all students. This app serves as a valuable tool to ensure that the utilization of resources is directed towards positive outcomes. By monitoring the progress of each student closely, we can identify areas for improvement and provide timely support and intervention. Project Pragati aims to enhance accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness in the delivery of educational resources and support services.
Gyanastra Foundation is a non-profit initiative committed to “Har Bacche Ko Shiksha” ensuring that every underprivileged child has access to education, nutrition and growth opportunities.
